14.1 Overview

The current chapter begins by discussing and illustrating the interconnections among the ten principles of the FPOS. Drawing on the experiences of various countries, it provides examples of positive outcomes resulting from adherence to the FPOS. The cases presented are organized by the most relevant Principle and highlight relevant interconnections with other Principles. The chapter also includes cases that show the possible consequences of non-adherence.
