Chapter 8 - Quality Management#

Quality management aims to ensure fitness-for-purpose of statistical deliverables and that the process, activities and tasks by which the products and services are created are efficient and effective. Quality is essential in building the value of official statistics as well as securing trust and user confidence in official statistics. This Chapter describes how to develop, maintain and manage a statistical quality framework, including conducting user satisfaction surveys as well as certifications and labelling of official statistics.
